EducationalKidsVideoMaker ("the app") is an internal content-production tool used by its developer to generate and publish original children's educational videos to a single YouTube channel owned by the developer. It is not a consumer product, has no public sign-up, and no member of the public creates an account with it or grants it access to their own data.
The app uses the Google OAuth scope https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.upload
solely to upload finished, pre-produced video files to the developer's own YouTube
channel. It does not request or use any broader YouTube or Google Account scope — it
does not read, modify, or delete existing videos, comments, playlists, channel
settings, or any other account data, and it does not access any Google user's data
other than the single channel the developer explicitly authorizes it against.
To produce each video, the app generates and stores: episode scripts, synthesized voiceover audio, rendered video files, and routine production metadata (topic, timestamps, review status). This data is stored in the developer's own private database and storage, is not sold, and is not shared with any third party except:
The app does not collect any data from people who watch the published videos. Viewer interactions (views, watch time, etc.) are governed entirely by YouTube's own Privacy Policy, not by this app. Every video published by this app is declared "Made for Kids," which disables personalized advertising and comments on that content at the platform level.
Production data is retained only as long as needed for the review-and-publish workflow and routine operational history, and is access-restricted to the developer. The OAuth refresh token used to upload videos is stored as a private credential and is never exposed publicly or shared with any third party.
